Klender Under Flyover Park Completed with Wi-Fi

The interactive park under Klender flyover, East Jakarta, is getting crowded by citizen especially on weekend after being opened two months ago. By the end of October, the park will be completed with free Wi-Fi.

I'm happy with the park's facility. I don't need to spend much money to enjoy it

Based on beritajakarta.com observation, Sunday (10/12), the citizen was enthusiast to utilize facilities around the area such as futsal field, skateboard track, basketball court, badminton, giant chess, table tennis, and outdoor fitness.

"I'm happy with the park's facility. I don't need to spend much money to enjoy it," said Wasja (50), citizen of Jatinegara Kaum.

Dry Season, Parks in East Jakarta Starts to Wither

Previously, the location was dirty because the street vendors selling there. Jakarta Provincial Government finally curbed the land six months ago. Satpol PP personnel guarded the area two months fully until the park project was done.

In fact, hundreds of street vendors, especially in the morning, are still scattered around. Their relocation plan is still stagnant.

East Jakarta Mayor, HR Krisdianto, stated the area must clear from street vendors. He already asked Head of Cakung Sub-district Ali Mutadho and Head of Pulogadung Sub-district Teguh Hendarwan to guard the area.

Meanwhile, Head of East Jakarta Park Sub-department, Suzi Marzitawati, explained this park is planned as role model for under flyover park in Jakarta.

"We're still coordinating with PT Telkom to instal Wi-Fi acces," Suzi stated.
